Jane’s current advocacy, post Grenfell, is to influence government regulation, and improve competence, life and fire safety skills and accountability, in the architecture profession. Chair the RIBA’s Expert Panel on Fire Safety after Grenfell 2017 to present. Founding member of Equilibrium Network.

Project Director at Scott Brown Rigg / DDU
Beni is a Project Director at Scott Brownrigg where she works on a number of high end residential schemes both client and contractors side, balancing the needs of a variety of stakeholders, while maintaining project goals and design vision. Her focus is on project efficiencies and multidisciplinary collaboration as to how we operate and deliver better designed, commercially successful developments.
An energetic advocate for change within architectural education and better support for future generations of architects she has helped set up the Architecture Apprenticeship scheme and regularly sits on RIBA validation boards for schools of architecture. She joined the Yada board in 2016 and is passionate about championing stories of collaborative project teams, new working methodologies and drivers of business success within the construction industry.

Counterbalance XYZ Founder
Gareth founded the Counterbalance studio in Greenwich, where he works on residential projects for domestic and commercial clients across the South East of England. In 2016 he helped create the Young Architects and Developers Alliance to help improve dialogue between the professions and find solutions to the problems we face together to create a better built environment for all.
